A starting point for many leisure activities – or simply enjoy the view
Bäuerlinshalde is one of the top addresses in Lindau with elevated panoramic views.
The south-/south-west side of the house and garden lies on a hillside facing the lake. Meadows and forests extend to the east and north, and to the south and west the view straddles the whole upper part of Lake Constance towards Austria and Switzerland, also including Lindau Island. Shopping facilities, such as a bakery etc, are only a few minutes away.
Bäuerlinshalde is a convenient starting point for numerous walking and bicycling excursions. The nearby beach bathing pool “Eichwald”, directly on Lake Constance, is inviting for both swimming or just lazing around. Only 2 minutes away, the Wannental bus-stop with direct connections to Lindau Island, opens up a whole range of further cultural, recreational, shopping and bathing possibilities.
In addition, the holiday apartment is an excellent starting point for car trips around the whole of Lake Constance; into the Allgäu region; to Austria (approx. 1 hour to, for example, the Arlberg or to Montafon with ideal hiking or winter sports facilities); or to Switzerland (a mere 2 km. to the border at Bregenz/Vorarlberg, then from there into Switzerland). In close proximity and in Lindau you will find many outstanding restaurants and bars.
